About “Into The Music”:
On stage, this concept brings together international and local street/freestyle dancers in a direct encounter with live musicians and a DJ. By allowing dancers and musicians to be equally driving forces, a unique improvised journey is created in which dance and music together write the story. Through solos, duets, and group-based improvisations, the boundary between dance and music is blurred. At the center are a love of spontaneity, freedom of movement, curiosity, creativity, and—of course—how music and dance can thrive together at their best.
The performance was presented twice at Orionteatern in 2023 and 2024. It will be staged again with a new ensemble in 2026 as part of the Rhythm n’ Moves festival.
