He was formed as a dancer through deep involvement in the international street dance and battle scene between 2006 and 2014. Erik won Juste Debout Scandinavia in popping twice (2010, 2014) and reached the quarterfinals at Juste Debout Paris (2010). From 2019 to 2023, he expanded his choreographic practice into still photography through the exhibition series High Definition 1 & 2 and Portals. In 2022, he presented SUNRISE, a site-specific, headphone-based concert in which the rising sun is choreographed through an original soundtrack composed by Yared Tilahun Cederlund.
In 2025, Erik premiered his first solo work, Idioter i Skogen, at MDT Stockholm. He currently works as a freelance artist and collaborates closely with Yared Tilahun Cederlund as producer and artistic collaborator for the work series PULS. Alongside his artistic practice, Erik is head of operations with shared artistic leadership at the association Gatuverket.
